Chicago Food Guide

Chicago has a bustling food scene; here are some of our favorite spots we ate at while visiting the Windy City!

Foxtrot Market- a cute market to grab a container of grapes, granola bars, iced tea, or a veggie wrap to eat on the go or to take on a picnic in Lincoln Park or Oak Street Beach.

City Mouse- a cool outdoor spot if you find yourself in the West Loop. We loved their avocado toast for an afternoon snack and delicious pecan oatmeal for breakfast.

Pequods- the best Chicago deep dish pizza! We are not typically deep dish fans, and this definitely does not fall under the healthy category, but It’s all about balance! Absolutely loved the caramelized crust.

Brown Bag Seafood Co- an awesome lunch or dinner spot for fresh fish. We loved the fresh flavors and the assortment of vegetarian options. This is a must go for a casual bite of fish tacos, salads, grain bowls, and coleslaw! We loved it so much that we went back a second day!

Chicago Raw- the perfect place for raw vegans. They have great looking salads and sandwiches, slices of cakes and brownies. Be sure to try the carrot raisin muffin, but skip the ice cream!
